2012 Outstanding Paper Awards deadline: Wednesday, February 1, 2012

The Spine Journal (TSJ) and the North American Spine Society (NASS) will begin accepting papers for the 2012 Outstanding Paper Awards competition on January 1.
Winning manuscripts will be published in the The Spine Journal following presentation at the NASS 27th Annual Meeting in Dallas. NASS and TSJ will award as many as four $10,000 prizes – one for each of the following categories: Basic Science, Value, Surgical Science and Medical & Interventional Science. Winning papers will be announced by August 15, 2012.

All entries are eligible for publication in The Spine Journal. Submissions for OPA consideration must not be submitted to another journal for publication until the 2012 selections are made. All entries should be submitted through TSJ’s online manuscript submission and tracking system, EES. The deadline for all submissions is February 1, 2012.
