MONDAY, OCTOBER 24 & TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Physician faculty lead this comprehensive and highly interactive course that will keep you at the forefront of the latest coding changes to ensure you maximize your reimbursement, including ICD10, E&M coding, and CPT4 coding of surgical, medical, and radiologic procedures. Coding Update 2016 is devoted entirely to spine with essential information as well as tips and strategies to help you navigate both the common and complex coding authorization and denial processes.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25: 7:30am - 4:30pm


This course will focus on the latest minimally invasive spine surgery techniques. Topics covered include posterior, lateral, OLIF, navigation and endoscopy techniques. Expert surgical faculty lead didactic lectures that provide the background for guided practice in the hands-on cadaver bioskills lab.

& SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29: 7:30am - 1:00pm

This in-depth course covers the latest science on the neurophysiology and neuropsychological aspects of pain, risk screening and modification, current and future provider training, developing psychologically-informed care teams, and identifying and overcoming barriers to the implementation of a biopsychosocial care model. Co-sponsored by the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.RIC

Fundamentals of Spine Surgery and Interventional Pain Management
Resident/Fellow Training Course FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28: 10:30am - 6:00pm
& SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29: 7:30am - 2:00pm

This surgical course is designed for residents and fellows, and will introduce anatomic approaches to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Didactic lectures will provide the background for hands-on cadaver sessions where participants will have the opportunity to practice these techniques with faculty who are considered experts in their fields.
